In the academic year 1983-1984, he taught the Complements of General Physics II (Electromagnetism) for the Laurea in Physics.
In the year 1984-1985 he gave at the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory U.S.A. and at the Department of Applied Mathematics of the University of Arizona, Tucson U.S.A., several seminars on the complete integrability of nonlinear field theories.
In the academic year 1985-1986 he taught the course of Institutions of Theoretical Physics for the Laurea in Physics.
In the academic year 1986-1987 he gave the exercise course on Mathematical Methods of Physics for the students of the Laurea in Physics.
In the academic year 1987-1988 he taught the course of Mathematical Methods of Physics for the students of the Laurea in Physics.

In the years 1998, 1999, 2000 he was a short term visiting professor of the "PhD School of Nonlinear Science", Technical University of Denmark, where he teached courses on: Quantum integrable systems; Bethe-ansatz; Hubbard e Heisenberg models; Group theoretical methods for the exact diagonalization of strongly correlated electron systems.
